Envision’s Mercedes vans containing the latest CCTV technology from Rausch and POSM allow our crews to access and video tape the interiors of sewers for inspection and video recording. CCTV provides the means to verify that gas and other utilities’ lines have not penetrated sewer laterals. These crossbore inspections are required to ensure the safety of the public from service interruptions or potentially catastrophic explosions. All sewer inspections are documented with written reports, GPS locating information, photographs and video recordings. In association with the CCTV operations, Envision employs high pressure sewer jetting equipment to pre-clean sewers prior to inspection or for maintenance purposes.
